Assignment 18 : Full Color Open Project

You will create one Final Drawing using full color. You can choose which color media you wish to use. You may use chalk pastels, watercolor, or prismacolor color pencils. This will be completed on one 18 x 24 drawing paper. The emphasis will be on using warm vs cool to show light and shadow. Work should incorporate 2 poses + environment. 

Materials:

• 18 x 24 drawing  paper
• chosen color media--chalk pastels, water color and water color supplies (water, brushes, etc), prisma color colored pencils 
• optional, pencils and erasers for starting out your drawing (all pencil marks should be gone by the end of the drawing)

Guidelines for creating your own reference: 

• Photo should have a lot of bold, bright color. Consider casting a colored light onto your model. Alternately, you could use digital editing to create a light effect on your image. If you have a photoshop subscription, you can download the adobe apps for your phone and you can add different color effects to your images easily using photoshop express. This is just one example. In the full value week we used light to show form, try to used colored light to create a mood or setting.
